While I continue to work in the Arts in my day-to-day job, I no longer work in the dance sector.

Press tickets

I am incredibly lucky to be given the opportunity to see many dance shows for free in order to review them for Like Nobody’s Watching. I always disclaim when this is the case across Instagram and this website using the following terminology:

Press ticket: Ticket was obtained by me reaching out to the company’s PR team to ask to attend the show.

Press invite: I was invited to attend the show by the performing company.

I split this out like this because, while these ways of obtaining a ticket would never influence my review (I am always honest, as I understand the responsibility of recommending a show people may go on to pay actual money to see), I want to be fully transparent about how these tickets were obtained.
